Butterfly Update

On Thursday morning we noticed that our chrysalis had turned very dark and Emma pointed out that we could see the patterns of the wings through the chrysalis. It was Meela's Dad that suggested we set up a time lapse video to try and catch the Butterfly coming out. We knew that she would only come out if we were nice and quiet so we set about our morning with whisper voices. While in our reading group, children noticed that the chrysalis was beginning to crack. It was pretty special getting to watch the beautiful butterfly emerge.
